Instructions for Applying:

Insert your e-mail address and create a password on the application login page. You will be sent an e-mail with a link to the application. To return to a saved application, simply enter the same e-mail and the password you created at the application login page. NOTE: In order for a trip to show up in the application, you must enter your gender, applying year, and applying season. All applicants for this year’s trips must select 2012 as the applying year.

**NOTE: You will be required to submit an initial $200 donation for your trip within one week of acceptance on the Mission. Failure to submit this donation will result in your removal from the trip.

How Volunteers are Selected

Mission Volunteer Standards:

1.    You are a student on FOCUS or Non-FOCUS Campus.  (Must be a student when application is submitted.)
2.    Young adults and high school seniors above 18 years of age (at the time the trip takes place) may apply for missions, however full-time university students will have priority in the participant selection process.  Non-student and Non-Traditional Student applications will be assessed on a case by case basis pending room on the mission.
3.    Applicants need not be Catholic, but they must adhere to a written Statement of Faith.
4.    Applicants must be able to fully participate in the mission.

Mission Volunteer Selection Criteria:

1.    The applicant’s student status.
2.    Order of Applications Received.
3.    Strength of Application.
4.    Personal Interview with the Trip Director
5.    Letters of Recommendation received for the applicant.
